Which stone, and how much?
Use crushed stone for anything that must lock together and carry weight (bases, driveways, paths). Pea gravel and river rock are decorative and shift underfoot, so keep them to a shallow top layer. Put landscape fabric underneath to stop the stone sinking into the soil. See tons per cubic yard for the weights of other materials.
