UK & Metric DIY calculators

These calculators are built for UK projects. Everything is in metres, square metres, cubic metres, litres and tonnes, and they use the sizes you will actually find at a UK builders' merchant or DIY store: 25 kg bags of cement, 2400 × 1200 mm plasterboard, 600 × 600 mm paving slabs, 10.05 m wallpaper rolls and 1 m² turf rolls.

Each one shows its working, so you can check the sums, and none of them needs a signup. They give planning estimates: confirm quantities with your supplier, and check the Building Regulations and planning rules for anything structural or close to a boundary.
